Submit a CCPA complaint

Why submit a CCPA complaint

If you feel like your consumer privacy rights have been violated by a business, it’s important to submit a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA or Agency).

While the Agency doesn’t represent individual consumers and cannot act as your attorney, every complaint provides insights into privacy problems California consumers are experiencing and helps the Agency pursue inquiries, sweeps, and investigations on behalf of the public.

How to submit a CCPA complaint

If you believe a business, service provider, third-party, or contractor has violated the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you can submit a complaint online. You can also file a paper complaint by printing and filling out the complaint form and mailing the complaint to the address listed on the form.
